    How to Obtain All Available Software 

    The initial setup of your Wacom Mobile Studio Pro or HP Z-Book notebook should include all of the software and/or instructions needed for your first year classes. If you need to reinstall, use the following instructions to install Office 365. If you need the latest Adobe software launch and sign in to the Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop App.

    To add wireless printing to the Wacom MSP or HP Z-book, visit the Printers section for instructions.

    We upgrade the software deployment image on an annual basis. 

    Ringling supplied Macbook Pro notebook users can be manage their own software and printers using Ringling College Software Center which should already be found in /Applications folder

    OS and Security Updates: How to Keep the Notebook Up-to-Date

    Windows users (HP Z-book and Wacom MSP):

    Microsoft Windows can be set to automatically install security updates and we recommend doing this to help keep your files and personal data secure. Virus & threat protection can be enabled in the Windows Security App.

    Apple Macbook Pro users:

    Apple provides its own App Store which will keep core Apple applications such as your operating system, iTunes, etc.. up to date. While we recommend always installing security updates for your operating system, we do not recommend upgrading to an entirely new version of the OS until instructed to do so by IT Personnel. This will help prevent any compatibility issues that may occur between the software we provide and the operating system on your notebook.

    To update Mac OS using the App Store, click on the blue App Store icon on the bottom right of your screen, then click on “Updates” button along the top row. This will open the tool that will immediately begin checking for updates. If updates are found, click on “Update” next to the ones you wish to update, or "Update All" if you want to grab the latest version of everything.
