Tech Liaisons

Information Technology Liaison Program

The Information Technology Liaison Program provides robust channels of communication between representatives from Institutional Technology and faculty liaisons from academic units.

These communication channels enable faculty both to learn in a systematic way about available technology services and also to inform Institutional Technology representatives about their educational and scholarship technology goals. Information provided by the program also helps build a broad understanding of technology goals across campus and thereby contributes to future agenda setting.

Program Goals:

The Information Technology Liaison Program is established to gather and share information and to leverage campus-wide IT services. Recognizing this functional distinction, the program is designed to maintain close connections with academic colleagues across campus in order to ensure that the program enriches the overall climate of technology services at Ringling College. This program has two specific goals:

  1. To strengthen communication and connection between faculty and Institutional Technology.
  2. To facilitate planning for technology service improvements informed by the technology goals of faculty and their respective academic units.

The Information Technology Liaison Program meets regularly with colleagues across campus to build best practices, share information, and develop the most complete picture possible of technology goals across the institution.
