Symptom (ZBook)
InDesign/InCopy simply does not launch.

Solution

Make sure you have an active VPN connection.  Once you have verified your connection is active download the Indesign or Incopy Fix file by clicking one of the below links.

Adobe Indesign Fix

Adobe InCopy Fix

You may receive the following message when trying to run the installer:

"Windows protected your PC.

Windows Defender SmartScreen prevented an unrecognized app from starting. Running this app might put your PC at risk."

This is due to your Security settings. Simply Click on "More Info" and at the bottom of the screen you will see a new option "Run anyway" appear.  Click this selection and it will start the installation of the InDesign or InCopy fix.  A message box will appear with the progress of the install.  Once finished you should be able to launch InDesign or InCopy based on which you have installed.  If the install does not work or for some reason you are still unable to open InDesign or InCopy, please contact Institutional Technology for assistance.
