Driver Installation

*****

***PLEASE NOTE: We have found a small problem on the ZBooks issued for Academic Year 2019-2020.  Please click on the following link to download the fix and see instructions below for installing it: AddPrinterFix.exe

Install the printer fix:  Go to where the file was downloaded and right-click on it.  From the drop down menu select "Run as administrator".   You only have to do this once to install printers.

******

You must have an active VPN connection to download and install printer installer files.

To install wireless printers located in the computer laboratories listed below, click on the location to download the printer installer. Once the download is complete, double-click on the downloaded "exe" file to open it.

You may receive the following message when trying to run the installer:

"Windows protected your PC.

Windows Defender SmartScreen prevented an unrecognized app from starting. Running this app might put your PC at risk."

This is due to your Security settings. Simply Click on "More Info" and at the bottom of the screen you will see a new option "Run anyway" appear.  Click this selection and it will start the installation of the printer.  At this point you will be prompted by a pop-up that the printer is being installed.  If for some reason the printer does not install please contact Institutional Technology for assistance.
